I have a 1971 50 hp Evinrude long shaft that I bought recently. What is the fuel mixture ratio that goes into this, and I also want to change the lower end fluid but don't know what kind I should use. Some help please. Been all over the forum here and can't seem to find a concrete answer.

Thank you in advance

Fuel ratio is 50:1, 320.

If it is a mechanical shift foot use standard 90W outboard gearcase grease/oil, labeled as such.

I don't remember if that engine has the electro shift. If it does you want to use type C gearcase oil, also labeled for electro-hydraulic gearcases.
