Motor is overheating, no water being expelled out of pee hole. Motor sat for 11 years but started right up. I put pentetrating oil down the cylinders and let it sit for a week, then started it. Runs fine just overheating. I'm new to boating and was wondering whats my next move to fix the problem. I have the orignial manual but Icant find overheating troubleshooting. Thanks to anyone who can help me. Glenn

Thanks Laddies, the guy at the marine shop thought the same. Now if I can just find the serial number I will be fine, lol. Thanks again for your help. Glenn

WOW! What a great website!!!. Thanks for the help guys really appreciate it. I'm a fairly good mechanic but never replaced an impeller before, is this a fairly easy project or should I take it in? I got this boat free so I donmt mind spending a few bucks to repair but if I can do it myself I dont mind the work. I do have the repair manual here. Thankls again! Glenn

It's one of the easiest things to fix on these things as long as nothing's stuck. Take the leg off, remove 3 nuts from the pump housing, replace the impellor then follow those steps in reverse. The manual should show you how to do it. Make sure you get the driveshaft key back in right (plate with a groove sticking out to line up in the impellor)<br />Eric
