Just wondering if there is, a procedure for testing the fuel pump on a 9.5?. Should the fuel line be full at idle, or just under heavy throttle?.

you need a gauge to do it right 1.5 psi at idle 2.5 at full throttle

Ok, 1st check that the gasket behind the fuel pump (between the pump and the block is there. Then remove the pump hose as it goes into the carb, if it pumps fuel as the engine runs, IT"S GOOD!!!!!!

I should have mentioned that I was having trouble with the quick connect on the fuel tank not sealing. I bought a new OMC coupler and it seems to have solved the problem. The fuel line to the carb stay's nice and full now.<br />Thanks for the fuel pump test procedure though, I'm sure I"ll use that info if another problem arises.
