I am coming to the completion of this project got all the electrical cleaned up then found I have a misbehaving ignition switch, turned to acc (On) nothing happens when testing for power, turn to start and engine turns over and when key returns to "ON" position I have power at choke and shift wires, also if I giggle the key a bit further and let it return to the "ON" position I get power to choke and shift solenoid wires, when I opened up the control box I found I had a purple wire with melted insulation on the terminal labeled "A" and the terminal is loose, obvious something had shorted and overheated this wire and most likely burnt the contact inside so I would like to change out the ignition switch with a new one and I suppose finding an exact match is just not going to happen, any advice on a suitable and available ignition switch would be appreciated, I have a separate toggle for choke if that make a difference.
