1971 mercury red band 4 hp

I am having trouble sourcing parts for this engine in the UK so I thought I would try you guys...

I require a carb or a carb kit and a propellor for this motor.It is defo a 1971 model so there is no point in posting individual engine numbers..

This engine is very clean and appears to have been in storage for years so I will go throught the awakening process..

If anyone can help with parts would you please either PM me or post on this thread..

P.s a friend is looking for a stator plate for a 20hp red band if anyone can help him.

Thanks for the reply Plainsman,

I have looked on eBay no joy and to get shipping from a company in the states is really expensive.I recently bought a full gasket kit for my Johnson 30 and the kit cost $39 the shipping and various taxes cost $66:devil:To say I wasn,t best pleased is an understatement.

The reason I posted this was maybe in the hope that one of the other board members may have these parts lying around in a shed and would they would maybe be interested in selling them.With a normal US citizen the goods just have to be marked gift and $30 tax just dissappears this can only be done in private transactions not commercial transactions.

Any assistance would be appreciated guys via PM or on this thread..
