1971 rude selectrict shift 85 h/p

i was woundering if anyone would know if a lower unit of a 1970 115 h/p electrict shift ??would fit my 1971 rude 85 h/p .. i had bought a 55 h/p lower unit from ebay but was too small to bolt at the housing .. so if anyone had any info it would be verry helpfull. thanks i need to get this boat in the water VERRY DEPRESING ...

Yes, if your 85 is also electric shift. The book says they both were part number 385413
