1971 Starcraft SS Transom Cap

I have a 1971 Starcraf where can I get a transom cap for the right side. just repowered with 1977 70hp evinrude need to rework transom this winter and cap is missing. any help would be great. thanks

Well....ebay has them on occasion (I am guessing you are talking about the corner cap)or graetlakesskipper has a pair of aluminum ones Starcraft Boat Corner Bracket (Set) | Great Lakes Skipper

That is what i need thanks this boat seems to have couple leaks on bottom in back under alum brace from transom to bottom is this common and can it be fixed?

Leaks on older starcrafts happen but can ALL be fixed http://forums.iboats.com/boat-resto...r/how-tos-other-great-information-288451.html look at item 9 and have fun reading for hours

PM Michealp in the starcraft section, he makes the corner caps and does a great job.

Shawn,

Take it or leave it - Make sure you get transoms caps that fit. I bought from GL skipper. Fine product but the caps were to long. I had to cut and reshape the caps using a miter saw, jig saw and JB weld. Sure I saved a bit of cash but time counts for something.
