Hi All
I just bought a 1972, 18' Holiday as a restore project.
It has a very good running 135hp Merc o/b. After 2 hours on the lake only about a 1/4 cup of water drained when the plug was pulled. That's better then my 2003 Bayliner did.
The floor is solid but needs the carpet replace, OK the inside is a rat hole. Needs a total gut job.
The hull has a small patch but not a lot of dents, needs painted its some kind of ugly green. The PO said it was the original factory paint.
The trailer is in fair shape but some ugly brown color, at first I thought it was rust but it's paint?
When I start ripping it apart is there any words of caution? This will be my first restore and I will admit it is a bit scary.
So now you have it. did I get bent at $900.00?
