Hello my boat barely moves when its put in gear. Not sure what wrong. It sound fine on idle. Question one is if i open the carbs manualy should it run by bypassing the cable. Or is there an electrical sycronization between the cable and some sort of switch

You need to be more percise in explaining the problem.

Are the rpms increasing and the boat does not speed up? When throttle is applied, does the rpms staying at an idle rpm? Try to explain the problem in detail.

sorry the rpms don't increase. The throttle was put all the way forward with the controls as well as by hand.

Aha!! More information. Did it just start this after the throttle cable installation? Sure you got it adjusted properly?

Is this a new engine to you Beartech or is this a new problem? Has the engine been sitting a long time? Sorry for all the questions, but history on the shaker helps in giving you some advice.

I used it all last year problem free. It did this right before I put it away. The only thing I did was put a new throttle cable on it this year but im thinking this shouldn;t matter

Go completely thru the cable installation process again. You've overlooked something in that area.

Shouldn't it still rev out if I bypassed the cables and opened both throttles wide open by hand. By the way this motor is electric shift
