The by-pass cover with fuel pump is located on the lower cyclinder. I need to move by-pass cover with fuel pump to upper cyclinder.Move upper cyclinder by-pass cover to lower cyclinder. Are there any problems switching places with the by-pass covers?

I have done several conversions and have mounted the pump to the upper cylinder port cover and I've never had any problems mounting it there. You should be fine.

Wait a minute, doesn't that one have a crankcase drain hose going to the upper? You don't want to put the drain on the bottom or you will have a problem with the idle and lower spark plug fouling.

If it were not for that, it wouldn't make any difference which cylinder the pump is on.
