1972 65 horse triple with electric shift on a 1959 AlumaCraft Queen Merrie. .
Every fall when the oils drained, there is water coming out along with it in the form of gray milky oil. We put gasket style washers on the drain and fill plugs. That didn't help. Dad can't find anyone willing to service the engine where he is (Danbury WI) because of the electric shift and put in new seals, assuming that is what is wrong. He had a found a place then they changed their mind for some reason.
We've had a problem with it blowing a fuse when shifting to in reverse before and I found some pinched wires on the shifter switch and fixed those. I don't know if the possible leaky seals would be related to that or not.
Can anyone recommend a place that would be willing to work on this? I'd attempt it if I had the proper tools.
