Tools needed: 1/4 ratchet set, 5/16 socket, extentions, swivel , weatherstrip adhesive/ bellows cement,/ contact cement
Start by removing the SS pins in each side, the pins are threaded so screw a small slide hammer in with the correct size thread or screw a bolt in of the correct thread and pull out. Remove the clamp from the transom side and remember where it was located , work bellow off housing, use a long flat screwdriver..
remove the exaust bellow from the gimbal side , cut the water hose , let housing hang gently , try no to break the continuity wire, no disaster if it does.
Remove clamp from gimbal side and remember where it is located, remove bellow, remove clamp from water hose, and remember where it was located.
Using a product caller "Power Tune" spray the water hose and install and clamp on the transom side
Clean housings, apply cement to AFT side of boot generously ,install and clamp
Now pay attention
Trial fit the transom side of the bellow, use fingers on the inside to slide it on to the stops. There 3 ridges/lumps raised above the housing, easy to see and feel.
Once confident in the process, apply adhesive, set clamp loosely on FWD facing bellow and install and clamp
The tricky part
Spray the hose end , and start by feel onto the barbed fitting. Raise the gimbal slightly, grip the exposed hose with pliers and push the housing downward to slide hose on all the way. get on your back and tighten clamp, pull/work the exaust bellow on the the gimbal and clamp, some prefer to use a boot , much easier
