1972 Starcraft capri bow question

The bow eye bolt is loose on my boat and ia can not see a way to get to it. I am refering to the point on the bow you connect the winch line to to pull the boat back on the trailer.

Those bow eyes were usually set with a hardwood spacer which has probably split and let go......

You have to get to the back side.....there is no other way. Some people have had to do "surgical" cuts and re-fiberglass to cover the cuts.
