It's a hard choice to call it quits on a project but only being in the demo phase and having two water ready boats in the drive would have made my mind up already.

You got two options (I think you already know them)
1. If you really want rid of it list it on CL as a complete project package but be ready to give it away to get rid of it quickly.
2. Part it out and retire the hull to the landfill, with all the gulls it's like the beach and the boat will never know the difference.

If that hasn't convinced you I can sing that Frozen song.:D

jbcurt, I truly apologize, I was not at all soliciting. It was a rhetorical question intending to show that we may be moving on from the Steury. Not an offer for sale, but I can see now why you thought so. If/when it is for sale I will post it only in the proper place.

As for right now, I think we will likely pull the Steury down to the farm for winter storage. It really is in decent shape and I hate to send it to the landfill. However, after my last month of boat shopping, there are sooooo many boats out there right now, I doubt this is a time to find it a new home. It will give Alaina the winter to think it over and see if she still desires to finish it. I'll work on putting the deck back on it and getting it strapped to the trailer...I'll have to put the hooks back in. Then on to working on the Larson!

I am envious of your First Mate. Watch out because they prefer being Admirals. Looking forward to the future posts about QFT with all your boats!

There was a time when the only girls I dated had boats or, more correctly, their fathers did. Looks like y'all have all the bases covered. Good luck!
