Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but thought it would be nice to share some things with people who have been through this before. This was my fathers boat, and he had just begun to restore it. He had replaced the wood on the floor and sanded the top of the boat. He passed away unexpectedly a couple of months ago, and now I am taking on the project. I have tons of memories on this boat and I want nothing more than to get it back on the water. So far I have primed the top with epoxy. It will be metallic cobalt blue and the hull will be white. I know I have a long way to go but I would just like to hear your though on this? I believe this is a '73 mariner is that correct? Here are the before pictures. Motor is a 115 Suzuki.
