Good day let me let you in on what I am doing I am restoring a 1973 30? Silverton cabin cruiser and I have lots of questions. I am a newcomer to boat restoration but not to boats. I live in New England and I am on my way to a great boat. The first question is this boat has been out off the water for 15 years should I relapse all threw hull fittings or leave them? The hull is in great shape thank you.

Are we to assume a glass hull? Also what material are the thru hull fittings made of?

replace fittings and hoses. these are some of the things neglected in older boats. people just don't understand why they are taking on water, or the boat sank overnight.
