Hey Guys,
I have the motor in the title. Model # 65373R. Having some issues at idle and low throttle. WOT runs like a top. Assuming it’s clogged carbs so I’m goin to rebuild. Looking for the proper OEM # so I can order.
On another note, there is ALOT of play in my throttle engagement housing. Very loose and doesn’t seem like a tight grab on the throttle cable. It will sputter and then catch up. Assuming thats the carb but wondering if the throttle also?
Sometimes while I’m in the water, I have to bring the throttle handle out of the “locked” position and move it ever so slightly forward to bring it to “neutral” so I can crank the motor. I’m thinking the cable needs adjusting? I just recently put a new one on exactly how the old one came off but maybe haven’t accidentally adjusted something.
