I have a 1973 Evinrude 135hp that is very hard to start. This motor has about 100 hours on its complete rebuild. If the motor is tilted up at all it takes forever to restart. When first launching it after a week of sitting, if i prime the carb by squirting fuel/oil mixture into the carb it usually starts right up. It seems as though either the fuel pump??? is not pumping properly or something is allowing the gas to run out of the carbs???
