1973 EVINRUDE 25 HP

The last owner took all the electric start parts off the motor and I want to put them back on. Its pretty obvious where the starter goes but the rest??? What wires to what? I can't read wiring diagrams. I have the controls and harness with key and sart/choke button which all look in good shape. Detailed pictures or discription?

start with this...as a guide anyway and you will need to learn diagrams and trbl shooting if you plan servicing a boat !!

Thanks I have the manual and can find wiring diagrams. I need information on where the starter solenoid sits, where its attached, how to get the remote start harness and battery cables through to the motor.

On the later models the solenoid fits on the starter bracket.----Pictures of your parts will help you get the info you seek.

Its a 1973 and I think the starter is on one side and the rest on the other.
