1973 Evinrude 25hp stering

I am thinking of replacing my Mercury with a older evinrude but not if its a huge hastle. I have cable stering set up ith my Mercury but this 1973 Evinrude uses an old pulley system, which I am not into using. I there adapters so this evinrude can use my exsiting cable? Or something? I have spent countless hours online looking.

Find a good boat shop.-----They will order a kit for you.-----Or fabricate an adapter using an old tilt tube from a Johnson / Mercury / Evinrude / Yamaha.----I can not see your workshop , or know your level of ambition.
