You guys might think im crazy but i put coils from 2 80s modle evinrude 40 hp on to my johnson 135 hp's stator. I went to the dump and there was 2 40hp evinrudes there. each one of the engines had one coil to run two clinders. So I figured that since one coil on the stator of my 135 runs two clinder they should do the same thing. I am about to test what I have done. Do you think the coils from the 40s would put out to much juice and smoke my new powerpack or are all the coils the same.

Do you think my mad creation will work

Seems to me you are making a bet with poor odds. If you win, you might save $300 or so. If you lose (and then repair it right), you pay $500 or so for a new stator and a new power pack. Hmmm...
