1973 Lower Unit needed

Hi! This time it's my lower unit! Seems the gears are shot. I'm haveing a really hard time finding replacement parts. I would like to get a used gear set but can't find it. Alternatively I'm looking for a used lower unit. I know someone has a working lower unit they salvaged from their toasted motor. I just haven't connected with them yet! Any ideas? There is one on ebay, but I can't know if it's any good or not.<br />I have a 1973 135hp Evinrude.<br /><br />Thank you for any advice you can share.<br /><br />Ted

Iboats sells rebuilt units here. You might try Jack at Superior Marine Salvage at 800-338-9281 for used. <br /><br />Good luck!

I have a 4 cyl 85 Mod #85ESL74B Johnson engine trashed but lower unit is good. you would have to verify if it would work
