Model 200 (20 hp) Serial # 3540395
While I know that I will most likely be far ahead by buying a newer motor; bear with me because I love bringing old machines back to life.
1) Trying to figure out the reverse lock system.
From reading on this site I believe it is suppose to lock in netural and reverse but not in forward. I am missing all the parts so I do not see how this happens or what I may be missing.
I know I will need the rod part# 26092 and the lever # 61012 but what part moves the lever when in forward?????????

2) This motor is a manual start with a tiller. While I do not want or need battery start I would like to add a battery charging system for my trolling motor battery. Can this be done??? Please explaine what stator I would have now as compaired to the stator/rectifier setup I need.
3) When I pump up the pressure bulb all the way on the gas tank I "sometimes" see a squirt of gas coming out the front of the carb. I assume this is nothing more than a bad neddle or seat (float setting) in the carb and a rebuild of the carb and attached fuel pump will cure this problem.
It runs well after started and does not flood out so I may just be pumping it to much.
Thanks very much for the help.
