Dag nab it. Hate to hear there may be a boat sale pending over this way.

Doesn't Louisville have bike lanes on many of it's main routes?

Just saying.... :watermelon:

A scooter might be nice this time of year too

If asked I'll deny I ever said any of it ^^^

Good luck resolving the Admiral's car service

I'm very sad to hear about the car and the boat. Hopefully you can see a way to keep the boat and get the car.

Man, that sucks, after all the work you have done? You just going to throw a new/rebuild motor in the wifes car?

Re: 1973 SRV 220 OV Resto

1977 SRV 220 OV 350 engine and i have a question?
I need the dimensions for the engine compartment and side cushions because everything was missing when I got the boat. Not even sure how it is all suppose to mount and Not sure about ventilation either, only has blower and no hoses. Been trying to fing a manual with no luck. If I had some before and after pitures it might help. Will post some of my own asap! Love the work and paint job.

Thanks

Re: 1973 SRV 220 OV Resto

original information is hard to find on these old gems.
if you look back through some of my pictures, you may be able to get an idea of how things went together.
i'll get some dimensions off my engine cover if that will help some.

How do you find a specific post such as #320 - been looking for awhile! I have a 60 gallon tank to replaement, not sure who to go through on fuel tanks. Who has the best price for a roll of 1.5 matt? Also same question on poly resin.

Thanks.

the post # is in the upper right corner of the replies (your reply was #452)
most people look around locally first for fiberglass supplies, even checking with local boat builders/repair facilities. many also shop online, a popular source is USComposites.com.
Not really sure of a good source for fuel tanks, i'm going to be building my own when i get to that stage of the project

You are going to build your own gas tank? What are you going to make it out of? Would something like that be cheaper to just buy a new one or find a used one somewhere? Just curious as to why you need to build one...

I'll be making it out of aluminum. Luckily, at my new job, I have a full machine shop at my disposal. I already have the design and prints done of the tank, all I have to do is buy the aluminum sheets and start cutting, forming and welding....when i'm at that point in the build.
