1973 Thunderbird Tri Hull Restore or Sell

Hey everyone , so I was given a 1973 thunderbird Tri Hull boat and got a 80's model part boat now. I was going to start by restoring the 73 thunderbird but I was wondering if it would be worth more as parts being sold. It has a 140 mercrusier motor I see some parts seem to sell for a lot . If I can get enough from parting it out I might get put that money towards a newer boat. What is everyones opinion on this.

Not sure if I should take this huge project on or just use it to go towards another boat.
