1973 Ward's (Clinton) 7hp Sea King Fuel Problem

I am having trouble keeping this motor running. When I prime it, a few air bubbles dribble from just below the butterfly on the carburetor. Is it possible The fuel line fittings are not air tight and therefore not sending fuel? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

You're asking a "How high is up" question! In other words there is no correct answer without a lot more data. Have you even tried taking the fuel line loose at the carb to SEE what is happening?
