1974 Aq130 running issues.

Still have not been able to source my issues. It’s got new ignition conversion. New plugs and wires. Old cap and rotor which look fine. Second new fuel pump and first electric was fluctuation around 1.5psi. Re built carbs. I can start it and go and it runs great seemingly forever. Until I stop the boat and idle for a few minutes then try to go again. Then it runs like crap like it’s running out of fuel. Tank has been out and cleaned.

Try touching the coil and see how hot?
It shouldn't be so hot you can't touch it.

What's the fuel pump pressure?
Too low and it won't draw from the tank.
Too high and it shuts down the needle seat.

Check the anti siphon valve at the tank.

It’s 4 psi. I don’t think there is an anti siphon valve. Didn’t see one when I had tank out. If coil was breaking down you’d think it would do it anytime. Just just after a idle?
