Just got all the parts I needed and put my Yachtwin together. I bought it from a neighbour and it had been sitting for a long time so everything was dried out.
It initially ran but after a while it would cut out at idle on the lower cylinder.
It turned out to be a coil.
It now runs like a new outboard.
Thanks to all of you who gave me advise as I never worked on a small outboard before. It was a bit of a challenge but I could probably dismantle it and put it back together with my eyes closed now. They are not too difficult to work on.
