Hello to all,
I need some help figuring out the choke or what these items are. When I start the motor up via remote start the motor revs to max and I have to choke it out to stop it. Seems VERY light, like it's not attached properly. Another question totally unrelated, I don't see a pee tube any where on this motor, does it have one or is there some other way the water circulates? Thanks ahead for anyones help

That is the choke solenoid and choke linkage. Not your issue. Make sure the throttle plates are closing like they should, and that the stator under the flywheel is moving freely and attached to the throttle linkage.

No telltale indicator on those.----Install a new impeller and test the overheat horn that is in the control box.

some combination of tan wire, usually. Ground and horn should sound.

I just got the same motor but no propeller, what one are you running? Mine is going on a 18.5 Gregor CC seahawk. Thanks in advance!
