This whole post is about the 74-76 9.9/15 hp not your other motors. If you look at my screen name and pic then you can tell me how hard parts are to get.
Sorry for the VERY late reply, but showed this thread to my buddy. He decided to look around and found a nice ‘02ish model 15hp Mercury. The ole Johnson is now on craigslist for parts.
