1975 4hp Johnson

their was a 75 model Johnson 4hp for sale,it has the throttle on front cover.the guy that`s selling it claims it has no clutch,just turns with engine.I see a handle on the left side sticking up,with a black rubber rubber grip.
wouldn`t that have to be the forward/neutral clutch lever?can`t see it from left side,just from front.
also would this engine have any points&such.and lastly,were these shift clutch levers hard to work on or trouble prone?

If the model year is correct, then the seller is correct. There wasn't a neutral feature added to the 4s until the 1980s. That lever on the side is the throttle. The motor spins 180-degrees for reverse. The only things on the front cover are the carb mixture adjustments, starter handle and the choke knob...

Thank`s,that`s the 1st time I`ve seen a throttle on the side.
