1975 5hp seaking problem

OK keep in mind I'm new to the boating thing I don't know much about outboards but I picked up a 1975 semi v and it came with this motor it ran great but I went to run it the other day started fine but then when I put it into gear nothing happened the prop didn't spin I can here it click when I move the lever forward like its going into gear but nothing happens any ideas

I'll assume the motor was built by Clinton Long ago out of business.
the motor uses a shear pin to drive the prop check to see if it is sheared.
It is under the prop.You may find a similar sized pin at the hardware store.Brass should work.
