Hi there looking for guidance on carb placement on this outboard. Someone has had the carbs off before and I’m thinking they’re in the wrong spot. Maybe the bowls were put on the wrong carb? I have seen pictures of the triple carb setup and the middle carb has the big nipple coming out of the bottom of the middle carb. On my motor the big nipple was coming out of the bottom of the bottom carb. Are these carbs the same? Are the bowls the only thing different? Anything I should look for when rebuilding these carbs and setting them up? Thank you in advance

Upper and lower carburetors are the same part #----Middle carburetor has different linkages.----All carburetors function the same way.---Each carburetor feeds only 1 cylinder ( except for a wee balance passage way) in between them.

So someone possibly put the middle bowl on the bottom carb?
