Has anyone out there been on a Chieftain Express? From what I gather they were only made 4 years, 1974 to 1977. Were they only made 4 years because they were not a very popular model?

No response from you guys regarding my question above. So, I can probably assume that there were not many Chieftain Expresses made. They must be rare because I have not seen many, kind of like the Offshore V.

Well I was gonna say that I don't see many Chieftain Expresses around, but here's another one on CL for a good price too.

Today is a BIG DAY! For today is the day I leave to pick-up my Chieftain Express in Detroit. I think I have a 12 to 13 hour drive. I should return home on the 4th if all goes well. I will post some pictures as soon as I get back, - MC

Bring over to Lansing on the way back and I'll help you with the teardown, make it lighter for the long drive home
