1975 Evinrude 35hp powerhead on 25hp motor

I have a 1975 25 hp Evinrude motor on my skiff and a rebuilt 1975 Evinrude 35hp powerhead. Could the higher HP powerhead be used on the smaller motor? Would it be worth the trouble? The 25 runs good but I could use a little more power.

OK. Thanks. I'll just stay on the lookout for a good lower unit for the 35.
