1975 monark with 85evinrude

first off i would like to introduce myself,im from the bellflower area,i've lurked on this forum awhile back,and i ran into a lil trouble with my evinrude.and im wandering and (hoping )if some of you can help me out a lil with my boat motor.it started wed i went out fishing and at the end of the day i notice it starting to bog down,i thought i ran out of gas.i check gas and it has a half tank.then it starts to run normal again.5min later it does it again.then i notice primer bulb sucked all the way in.then it fills back up,and i can run again,i thought opening my gas knob might allow air into the tank,but it didnt work.it stalls on me and then it filled up again and im running it normal.it repeated this till i got all the way to the docks.its an aluminium tank intergrated with the boat.any help will be appreciated thanks evinruder13

opening vent did not work i would say the pick up screen in the tank is clogged. blow air back into the tank, thru the fuel line. disconnect the hose at the bulb, as the check valve will block the air.

so blowing air through the gas line will unclog it ,or will i have to replace it.?
