will a 1975 stator work on a 1974 70hp
i have good running 74 johnson and have a 1975 evinrude parts motor
i was poking around and noticed my trigger coils are starting to leak under the flywheel

well i want to change it with my parts motor one but the newer one doesn't look like my old one

just want to make sure it will work
