1976 115 evinrude outboard

Can anyone tell me the weight of a 115HP evinrude?

Also, if I am storing it, can it be layed down on it's side?

I have a boat that needs too much work. I got offered peanuts for the engine and trailer, so I may sell my trailer sepertely and keep the engine.

Right at 270#. You can lay it down for storage. You may get some gas coming out of the carbs unless you drain them...

I really dont know the true weight of the 115 hp but do to the fact of removing mine , I would say 100-125 lb. 2 man job no matter what u do. hope this helps.
