1976 70Hp Midsection Swap

Hi everyone. I know this topic was discussed somewere in these forums,but I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of swapping out the midsection of a later model 70Hp with tilt trim to fit a 1976 70Hp. Is this possible? and what model year would work if possible Thanks My engine model is 70673D

to find the working parts is almost impossible. look into the CMC aftermarket units. they cost what, the motor is worth or more. 1973 thru 1976,
