I have written 2 posts recently and got great response thanks everyone.
This motor is used in Louisiana in saltwater and mainly during the summer. Could I actually remove the thermostat thus eliminating 1 potential problem area because of corrosion. There are also pressure control valves in the thermostat housing, could these have also been stuck preventing water flow. I intend on replacing the pressure valves but thought eliminating the thermostat due to warm weather operation cou;ld prevent another cooked engine.
Thanks Everyone.
