Well just got a new boat with the 85 rude on it. It was given to me soo i havn't messed around with the engine much, when i tried to fire it up on the muffs, it seemed like it wasn't even firing checked for spark am getting that and compression seems fine but will be checking that this weekend. we are able to trace fuel going through the lines and past the fuel pump and into carb, from there it doesn't appear that any fuel is getting into engine, is this just a possible seat and needle issue or is there something else that could cause this?? any info would be helpful , oh and just as a warning this is my first time with an outboard. mainly used to sterndrives.
