Hi. I took my flywheel gears with the ignition windows off while the magnets still on the motor. Is it possible throw the timing off if I dont reinstall it the exact the same? Is there any alignment marks to reassemble? Thanks Arny.

Are you saying that you removed the eight 5/16" bolts that ring the flywheel nut and removed the outer flywheel? If so, it is easy to reinstall it. Remove spark plugs. Place outer flywheel on engine with two bolts loosly installed. Put a screwdriver into the top cylinder thru the spark plug hole. Now turn flywheel until piston is all the way up. Now remove the two flywheel bolts and turn outer flywheel only, until TDC timing mark on flywheel decal is pointed to by the timing pointer, and reinstall flywheel bolts. Use some blue locktite on them.

Hi. I want to thank Chris 1956 on the info. he gave me on my flywheel timing. I just bought this boat and didn't check it out very good. The guy lied to me on just about everything. I need to get a manual on it but I'm not sure the best place to get one. The Trigger sensor wires are so burnt up there's no color left on them. I haven't got the new one yet but I dont think it will have any intructions with it. There's 4 of them that go to the switch box. Thanks for everything! Arny.
