Just an FYI. I put new points and condensers on this motor. Also replaced a coil. Motor started up second pull. So it’s my first time setting points with a multi-meter so I was happy about that. So to check the coil, I pulled plug wire from oldest coil, motor still ran. Good sign. Went to pull boot on new coil and WOW!! It lit me up!!! I had 2 gloves on, but it still got me..Replaced that boot from an old coil I took off, Everything seems good. Gonna take it to the lake soon. Word to the wise, just because it’s new don’t assume it’s good.
