Updating a '76 Gulfstream W/A with OMC 3 liter to outboard. Engine and outdrive out, transom already sealed, glassed, and gelcoated (thanks to this forum for all the advice) and bracket and Yamaha 175 mounted.
Getting ready to install Seastar hydraulic steering, electrical, and throttle/shift.
Any advice or input from similar updates would be appreciated. Since there is not a whole lot of activity on this site, thought I'd try to get some tips and advice flowing. I need recommendations on how to run the hydraulic hoses through the transom; power and electical through hoses to the engine. I have some ideas, just want to confirm my suspicions with already tried and tested refits.
2manyboats: read your posts from earlier about transom repair. I have some experience with how its put together as this is my second Grady that I've done some transom repair to. Just read it tonite however and I see the post is closed.
