High Trim is on the money. That's the part-available from any Bombardier dealer. Around $235.

Model# 135EL76D
I was contemplating finding another lower unit altogether. The skeg has been chipped and gouged then ground down so much by other PO's, its actually shorter than the low edge of the prop blades. Do y'all think an 85 or 110 hp lower would kill my low or high end torque? Or should I invest in a "skeg guard". I have a chance to get a '75 135 evinrude with a bad power head, but I would hate to be in the same boat I'm in now (bad pun).
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'm still not sure about the drive gear ratios. The 115 should be close to what I have now. Its the 85 that's got me wondering. It just so happens that I can get the 85 real cheap....like free....but I really don't want to sacrifice the performance of the 135. Before the lower damage, my '79 carlson 16ft would fly and power thru torns like a gocart. I just don't want to turn it into a 'dumptruck'
