i need help! I need to know how much compression in my 55hp johnson i should have.

Over 100+ psi and even on all cylinders. Now, what compression do you have?

Welcome to the forum!<br /><br />Hopefuly it will test better than 100 psi. But you can live with it if its still got 80 or so. <br /><br />Below that its really in trouble. But not hopeless.<br /><br />If its got 125 or better its purt near new.<br /><br />luck to ya!

i got about 60 psi.<br />my motor wont run right now. it is just blowing the little bit of gas it sucks from the carb through to the exaust and not burning it. i dont know if its not running cause its just not enough gas from lack of sucion.
