Does it have good spark on all cylinders? What do the plugs look like? Dry or Wet?

Ahoy, Bugs.<br /><br />Tell us what you did to prove that you have good spark and fuel to all three.<br /><br />The only other thing I can think of that would kill all three cylinders is lost timing from a sheared flywheel key.<br /><br />Let us know. :)

Did you check spark with the plugs in or out? Use a spark checker with at least 1/4" gap, anf test with all plugs in. If you now do not have spark, your cranking rpm is low, or your charge coil(in the stator assy)is weak. The cranking RPM can be low even if it sounds OK. What is compression on all three?

i got a puller for the flywheel but none of the bolts fit, is there a special size for a 1976 johnson 70hp? also i checked resistance on the charge coil, should be 555-705ohms but is 1300. whats wrong?
