I have a 1976 85 HP Johnson Javelin. It ran great for about 2 weeks, and then all of a sudden I went through a NO-Wake zone, and then throttled it, and the over heating buzzer went off. I stopped, and nothing seemed to be overheating, but whenever I turned the key to the on position it would come on. So I took the throttle box apart, and was looking through the wires, and then it stopped buzzing. I though it was fixed, but then when I went to start the motor there was no power. The fuel gauge would not even come on. We have tested the ignition switch, and that is fine, and there are no fuses blown anywhere. And we can see no bad spots in the wires. Where else can we check?? Please help me!! It almost 4th of July weekend, and I need it for camping!!

Thanks!!
