1976 Johnson control cable

I broke the gear contol cable this weekend, I found some on this website, but I'm unsure of where to measure from and what style. Can anyone help me out.

I have a 19' Renken, and end to end my cable measures about 14'.

look on the black sheath for a number, that is your replacement #. also measure the sheath. not the total cable.
