Sorry but I've search this but can't seem to find the answer or I'm just confused. The trim started to get slower so I thought maybe air in the line so I tried to bleed it and oil went flying out of the cyc and the motor went back down. put oil in cyc and and hit the trim button a couple times. Now it sounds like the motor is spinning. Not enough oil. I tried bleeding it like I found on here but nothing. Can you fill at the motor ?

Ok the trim motor will have a fill screw manual says fill too bottom of hole bleed then re check its a roundflat head aright top of lock screw make sure other screw with large washer is opened up two turns from seated this is vent screw this is all assuming u have same pump as my 1976 but my manulal covers 50 to 175

You need to bleed the pump not the cylinder. Pump should be mounted inside on the transom top screw is vent and lower screw is fill with motor in full up position fill pump then then cycle up n down several times topping off pump each time this will remove all air.
